Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a dynamic HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. You will diagnose issues, perform routine and emergency repairs, and interact with customers while upholding safety and keeping detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
• EPA Type II preferred.
• 1 year of HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers.
• Drive a company van to various job sites to complete service calls.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC systems.
• Other duties as necessary.
