Job summary

Horn Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Exton, PA, is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Technician. You will service, repair, and sometimes install residential systems, engaging homeowners to address concerns and educate on maintenance.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and customer relationship building while offering on-the-job training and growth. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of HVAC experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and may possess EPA Universal Certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of HVAC experience.
• EPA – Universal Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills.
• Technical knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Service all equipment according to an established service schedule, company standards, and within acceptable time frames; troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.
• Perform occasional residential HVAC installations and system replacements as needed.
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and address their HVAC concerns.
• Document all work completed legibly and accurately according to company policy and submit daily.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the field to ensure excellent service and enhance the company’s image.
• Follow all safety procedures, including safe driving practices and no mobile device usage while operating vehicles.
• Apply product knowledge and pursue additional training/education as appropriate.
