Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning in Farmington, NM is hiring an Experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose problems independently, perform quality repairs, and own each service call. The role offers strong hourly pay and a path for growth.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with bonuses, spiffs, and opportunities for advancement, plus benefits like insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience required.
• Residential HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• EPA Certification strongly preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose systems rather than rely on parts replacement.
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and system schematics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential heating and cooling systems.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and system performance evaluations.
• Identify the root cause of equipment issues.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Explain system conditions and repair options to homeowners.
• Provide accurate recommendations for repair or replacement.
• Complete service documentation and communicate important job details.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate with leadership regarding parts, pricing, and field needs.
• Assist newer technicians with technical questions and best practices when needed.
