Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for residential systems in Michigan. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, explaining issues and solutions to homeowners to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC experience and EPA 608 certification, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively. On-call rotation and strict safety compliance are essential, along with documenting work using the company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical HVAC training preferred.
• EPA 608 Type II certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC repair and installation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Document service findings, work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software.
• Explain issues and solutions clearly to customers for informed decisions.
• Educate customers on system operation and potential improvements (e.g., high-efficiency equipment).
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and properly stocked service vehicles.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service requests.
