Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in San Diego, CA is hiring a full-time HVAC Maintenance & Service Technician to maintain and repair residential systems. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and complete service reports for homeowners.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC experience, ownership of personal service tools, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience.
• Must own and provide personal HVAC service tools.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Valid drivers license with clean record.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, refrigeration, and diagnostics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and seasonal HVAC tune-ups.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling system issues.
• Perform repairs on air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and mini-split systems.
• Inspect electrical components, refrigerant circuits, airflow, and overall system performance.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Communicate findings and service recommendations professionally to homeowners.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and applicable HVAC codes.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and organized work environment.
