Job summary

Phoenix Mechanical, based in Westchester County, seeks a Residential HVAC Lead Installer for their Elmsford, NY team. The role involves leading residential HVAC installations from start to finish, educating homeowners, and ensuring high safety and quality standards.

Competitive base pay of $35.00–$45.00 per hour, plus 401k, PTO, and growth opportunities. Sign-on bonus may be available for experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10-hour and/or EPA Universal certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
• 3+ years of HVAC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of residential HVAC, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, AC units, etc. for residential clients
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns
• Develop basic knowledge of residential and mechanical piping and ductwork
• Ensure the HVAC equipment that was installed is clean, safe, and up to high standards before departure
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job

Education
