R.P. McLaughlin Co. in Salem, MA is seeking a Residential HVAC Lead Install Technician with proven installation experience to join our award-winning team.

You will install residential HVAC systems, ensure code compliance, perform quality checks, and collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable comfort. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in residential HVAC, holds a valid gas license and EPA certification, and demonstrates strong customer service and on-site professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC installation.
• Proven residential experience in Oil, Gas & AC Systems.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid Gas License.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in residential properties, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local/state codes.
• Collaborate with the project team for the efficient execution of installations.
• Conduct quality checks and system adjustments for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national HVAC codes.
• Communicate clearly with clients and maintain professionalism on-site.
• Complete accurate documentation and follow all safety protocols.
