Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning in St. Charles, IL is seeking an HVAC Installer to install heating, cooling and ventilation systems in residential settings. The role requires reading plans, installing equipment, and ensuring systems function correctly.

The candidate should have HVAC installation experience, be able to read docs, communicate in English, and have a valid driver’s license. Some overtime and weekend hours may be required; EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; education may be substituted with experience.
Prior HVAC installation experience.
Ability to read installation plans/documents.
Maintains and cleans work area upon completion.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Basic computing skills; able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
Valid driver’s license required.
Overtime with little notice; weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

Works under general supervision to install heating, air conditioning, ventilation equipment per company requirements and specifications.
May test systems to ensure proper functioning.
Identify issues and perform required repairs for compliance.
Completes all paperwork neatly, accurately, timely.
May perform start-up on air conditioning systems as needed.
Fabricates and installs ducts and duct fittings.
Follows safety policies and procedures.
