Job summary

R.T. Moore in Tipton, Arkansas, is seeking an HVAC Installer to install all components for turnkey residential and multi-family projects. The role requires installing ductwork, AHUs, FCUs, ductboard, various ducts, and refrigerant copper with attention to first-time quality.

The position is Monday–Friday, 1st shift, on-site in Tipton. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holidays, 401(k) and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Layout boots and ductwork from drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Read blueprints, drawings and product data for installation tasks.
• Install ductboard with proper joints, tape and mastic.
• Install snaplock duct, flex duct, aluminum exhaust duct and vent caps/x-vents.
• Communicate material needs to complete the job scope.
• Braz e, flare or swage refrigeration copper.
• Perform thermostat, float switch and low voltage wiring installations per plans and spec.
• Install wall-hung, vertical and horizontal FCU’s and AHU’s.
• Install supply, return and linear grilles/registers/diffusers.
• Install roof racks and set condensers/wire thermostat to condenser.
• Learn sheet metal ductwork installation.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Take timely action to solve problems per policies.
