Job summary

Life Care Services’ Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego area, is seeking a Residential Housekeeper. You will execute established work schedules to clean residential units, public spaces, and offices, maintaining a welcoming, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.

You will uphold our hospitality standards, perform window and carpet care, and assist with bed changes, supporting a high-quality senior living experience in a resort-style community.

Qualifications

• Background checks required: fitness for duty, fingerprinting, employment references.

Responsibilities

• Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner.
• Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition; identifies repairs and unsafe conditions and reports them.
• Operates cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions.
• Performs special tasks as assigned by supervisor and may be charged to residents.
• Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis.
• Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed.
• Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled.

Job Summary

The Residential Housekeeper is responsible for the execution of established work schedules within an assigned area, in accordance with Facility and Departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

• Cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
• Maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition. Must be able to identify and report the need for repairs, and unsafe conditions and respond appropriately in emergencies
• Uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
• Performs special tasks, which may be chargeable to the resident upon instruction of the Supervisor
• Cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
• Uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
• Makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
