Job summary

Serene Gardens of Grand Blanc is seeking a Housekeeper to join our growing team in Grand Blanc, MI. The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience and excellent communication skills to maintain cleanliness for our residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping experience, required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms in apartments and common areas (counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures).
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
• Spot clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans.
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC vents.
• Honor residents' additional housekeeping requests within allotted time.
• Assist with picking up trash and activity room setups, including moving furniture.
• Report pertinent information to management related to resident well-being.
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.
