Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Pass background check with health and welfare department.
• Must have a working cell phone and basic tech skills.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance maintained.
• Reliable transportation to transport clients as needed.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required for adults.
• Assistance with Medication Certificate required.
• At least 1 year experience with mentally and physically disabled population.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living skills, meal planning, budgeting, and personal care.
• Provide safe, continuous support in home or community and stay alert on shift.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings in own vehicle.
• Facilitate recreation, communication, and adherence to behavior plans.
• Maintain daily data, document times, goals, and strategies, and ensure charting is complete.
