Job summary

CrimsonBlu is seeking a Residential High Value Property Inspector in Sacramento, CA. This is a 1099 independent contractor role where you set your own hours, build your own route, and work with other clients as you wish.

You earn by completing inspections and managing your own schedule. As a contractor, you’ll travel to properties, explain the inspection to homeowners, measure exterior walls, sketch the property, capture photos and data in our mobile app, and deliver professional service on time

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with strong observation skills.
• Able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Independent contractor who can manage own schedule and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties to conduct high value inspections.
• Explain inspection purpose to homeowners in a brief, professional conversation.
• Measure exterior walls and sketch the property layout.
• Capture required photos and data using the mobile app.
• Take elevated roof photos when applicable, using preferred methods.
• Schedule your own appointments and manage workload.
• Deliver accurate, on-time, professional service with clear communication.

CrimsonBlu is looking for motivated, detail-oriented business owners/independent contractors in Sacramento, CA to complete residential high value property inspections. If you like being outdoors, working independently, and controlling your own schedule — this is a great way to build a business around your life, not the other way around.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. You control how and when you complete accepted jobs, you're free to work with other companies at the same time, and you're responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.

The Gig

• Traveling to properties to complete high value underwriting inspections you've accepted
• A brief, professional conversation with homeowners explaining the inspection
• Measure the exterior walls and sketch the property
• Capturing the required photos and data through our mobile web application
• Capturing elevated roof photos on applicable jobs — the method is up to you (many vendors use a camera pole)

Service Fees

• Service fee structure: Paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis
• Workload estimate: Vendors in this area typically pick up about 2 day(s) worth of jobs per week (roughly 8 per month)
• Availability: Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday (holidays excluded), based on customer expectations — you decide which days and how many you take on.
