Job summary

UFEMA Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter for our residential construction and remodeling team. This role focuses on installing interior trim, doors, cabinetry, and other finished woodwork with clean, precise work.

You will measure, cut, fit miters, read drawings, install baseboards, crown molding, cabinets, and hardware, while maintaining a safe, organized jobsite and collaborating with supervision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in residential finish carpentry.
• Strong skills in trim installation, door fitting, cabinet installation, and detailed layout.
• Proficiency with common power tools used in finish carpentry.
• Ability to read drawings and follow project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install baseboards, door and window casing, crown molding, chair rails, and decorative trim.
• Install interior doors, jambs, hinges, handles, and hardware.
• Install cabinets, vanities, built-ins, shelving, and closet components.
• Install wainscoting, wall paneling, and other architectural woodwork.
• Measure and lay out work, cut and fit miters, coped joints, and scribed joints.
• Read drawings and follow project specifications and installation instructions.
