Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Technician to support residential facilities maintenance. You will perform work orders, assist with preventative maintenance, and coordinate with vendors to keep properties safe and well-maintained for residents.

The role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently while following established processes and procedures. On-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance is required.
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to complete work orders and support preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders promptly with quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system and track using tools.
• Assist in property turn processes and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maintain operations.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments for standards.
• Safely operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment per safety protocols.
• Escort vendors on-site and facilitate their work as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized shop, storage, and back-of-house areas.
• Coordinate vendor services such as snow removal and landscaping.
• Support curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
