Job summary

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is seeking a licensed Residential Electrician or Journeyman for the DFW West area. You’ll perform installations and maintenance, lead apprentices, and ensure compliance with plans and codes.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Wireman or Journeyman license.
• 2+ years of residential electrical construction experience.
• Clean driving history and ability to meet drive-related requirements.
• Possess and maintain required electrical tools.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Layout of electrical per plans and local codes.
• Ensure all electrical is installed per plan and code.
• Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem.
• Select tools and materials according to repair work.
• Confer with customers to determine repair needs.
• Read blueprints and cabinet details to locate electrical installations.
• Follow architectural drawings for wiring installation.
• Replace faulty wires and components and ensure proper operation.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify needed repairs.
• Install lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets.
• Identify hazards or defects during periodic inspections.
• Plan wiring layout keeping local codes and specs in mind.
• Direct apprentices to ensure proper order handling.
