Job summary

Pride Mechanical is hiring an experienced Residential Service Electrician in Tucson to diagnose, repair, and maintain home electrical systems. You will perform wiring work, layout planning, and whole‑home rewiring in residential settings, with a focus on safety and quality.

Must have progressive electrical experience and a valid driver’s license. We offer a company truck, gas card, phone, tablet, and uniform, plus comprehensive benefits, training, paid time off, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Progressive electrical experience in residential settings.
• Journeyman's or residential license preferred.
• Experience in residential repair and install.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Residential service, maintenance, and inspections—diagnose, repair, and maintain home electrical systems.
• Wiring and equipment installation—install, test, and maintain wiring, devices, fixtures, appliances and related components.
• Electrical layout planning—plan wiring layouts and equipment placement per codes and safety standards.
• Whole‑home rewiring—execute full-structure rewiring, including panel upgrades and replacements.

Residential Electrician Duties:

• Residential service, maintenance, and inspections — Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on home electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

• Wiring and equipment installation — Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, devices, fixtures, appliances, and related components using appropriate hand and power tools.

• Electrical layout planning — Plan and execute wiring layouts and equipment placement based on job specifications, residential electrical codes, and safety standards.

• Whole‑home rewiring — Complete full‑structure rewiring projects, including circuit upgrades, panel improvements, and replacement of outdated or unsafe electrical systems.

Residential Electrician Requirements:

• Progressive electrical experience
• Journeyman's or residential license preferred
• Experience in residential repair and install
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (company vehicle provided during working hours)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Able to handle physical workload
