Responsibilities

• Residential electrical service — diagnose, repair, and maintain home electrical systems.
• Electrical inspections — conduct code-compliant inspections and advise on actions.
• Installation & assembly — install, test, and maintain wiring, devices, fixtures and equipment.
• System layout planning — design wiring routes, panel placement, and fixture locations per codes.
• Whole-house rewiring — upgrade wiring and service capacity across the home.

Residential Electrician Duties

• Residential electrical service — Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on residential electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.


• Electrical inspections — Conduct code‑compliant inspections to identify hazards, verify system integrity, and recommend corrective actions.


• Installation & assembly — Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, devices, fixtures, appliances, and electrical equipment using industry‑standard tools and methods.


• System layout planning — Design and plan wiring routes, panel placement, and fixture locations based on project specifications, load requirements, and local electrical codes.


• Whole‑house rewiring — Replace outdated or unsafe wiring systems, upgrade service capacity, and modernize electrical infrastructure throughout the entire home.

Residential Electrician Requirements

• Progressive residential electrical experience


• Journeyman's license preferred


• Experience in residential repair and install


• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (company vehicle provided during working hours)


• Ability to work independently or in a team environment


• Able to handle physical workload
