Job summary

Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in homes. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and clear customer communication, with a Monday–Friday work schedule. On-site residential service experience is essential.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with teammates while maintaining records and staying current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Electrical Certification required.
• Valid electrical license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience as electrical technician/electrician, preferably in residential services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in residential homes.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding their electrical needs and solutions.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient job completion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and safety practices.
