Job summary

Strada Services is seeking a Residential Electrical Quality Assurance Technician to physically inspect newly built homes, confirming lighting, devices, and equipment are wired and installed to Local and NEC Codes and ready for inspection.

You will read blueprints, verify wiring layouts, troubleshoot circuits, and maintain safety standards while coordinating with supervisors. A valid driver's license and 3–5 years of residential new construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
• Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be willing to operate a company vehicle.
• Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks to the best of ability.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Must have physical dexterity.
• Ability to communicate clearly and document work.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
• Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints to identify wiring locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuitry in new home construction.
• Maintain safety standards on all job sites.
• Communicate findings and status with supervisor and crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
