Job summary

Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air is hiring an Electrical Lead Installer who combines residential electrical expertise with strong crew leadership and pride in workmanship. You’ll lead residential electrical installation projects from arrival through completion, taking responsibility for safe execution, code-compliant work, crew productivity, homeowner communication, and job closeout.

Qualifications

Current California Residential Electrician Certification or higher electrical certification.
Experience leading complex residential electrical installations and small crews.
Strong knowledge of service upgrades, main panels, subpanels, rewires, and grounding.
Solid understanding of electrical codes and safe installation practices.
Ability to lead and develop apprentices and installation crew.

Responsibilities

Lead residential projects including main panel replacements, service upgrades, subpanels, rewires and other electrical work.
Review scope, material package, photos, notes, and requirements before starting.
Coordinate questions and issues with Electrical Field Supervisor or leader.
Plan daily activities and assign tasks based on skills and safety.
Perform installations that meet codes, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.
Coach apprentices while ensuring crew performance and conduct.
Keep homeowners informed about progress and status.
Monitor productivity and flag delays or material shortages early.
Complete testing and quality checks before service.
Complete ServiceTitan documentation, invoicing summaries, and signatures.
Identify return work and follow-up needs before closing the job.
Maintain assigned installation vehicle, tools, and company property.
