Job summary

I Am Boundless in Worthington, Ohio is seeking a dedicated staff member to provide direct programming and care support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, under the supervision of the Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities include implementing IPs, assisting in daily living, meal prep, laundry, transportation, and ensuring a clean, safe home environment while documenting services and attending in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English, including both spoken and written forms.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with auto insurance.
• One year of experience with intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of Individual Plans (IP’s).
• Assist in care requirements in Supported Living and Respite, individualized for each consumer.
• Document IP programs and services; maintain required documentation.
• Perform household chores; assist with laundry, shopping, and cleaning as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and proper labeling of stored and prepared foods.
• Maintain safety, health, and well-being of residents; report unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; manage resident funds and inventory.
• Transport clients using Boundless vehicles or own vehicle; may perform delegated nursing tasks.
• Maintain household files for compliance with standards and report incidents; perform first aid as trained.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
