Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily care, supervision, and safety for adults with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings in Paxton, MA. Schedule includes multiple shifts with 40 hours weekly and pay of $17.50-$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include following Individual Support Plans, maintaining records, and coordinating with a Residential House Manager. Overnight coverage duties are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• CPR certification and first aid training required or in progress.
• MAP & PABC certifications maintained.
• Ability to follow safety and behavioral plans as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor individuals for health and safety.
• Safely evacuate individuals from residence in the event of fire or disaster.
• Assist with transfers and personal hygiene, including lifting support as needed.
• Supervise and educate individuals on self-medication programs.
• Coordinate transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
• Maintain daily records and documentation of care and progress.
