Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid, Mandt Systems, and medication technician certification must be current.
• Background check required with acceptable results.
• Current DDA Training and no lifting restrictions; able to transfer individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, interaction and supervision of participants in daily living activities.
• Assist with meals, personal care, life skills, and transportation navigation.
• Support community integration and leisure activities; ensure safety and well‑being.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping; document progress.
• Follow medication administration guidance and coordinate with supervisors.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) assist individuals and families living in facilities homes. Individual programs are designed around the needs and desires of each participant and implemented with attention and care.Responsibilities:The DSP will provide assistance, guidance, mentoring, coaching, and teaching in many life areas, such as activities of daily living, personal care, life skills, community integration, and transportation navigation.The DSP will assist the supported person in enjoying the life that they want to live and increasing their quality of life by providing excellent services.Provide direct support, interaction and supervision of the supported persons, inclusive of all daily needs (meals, personal care, transportation, leisure activities, community integration, medical needs and medication administration)Required Qualifications:Must have a Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportationHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent required (one year of college preferred)1+ years of experience working with the population servedAcceptable criminal background is a mustMust have CPR / First Aid, Mandt Systems, medication technician certification must be refreshed within timelines, and the certificate must have a current status.High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)Current DDA TrainingMust have no lifting restrictions.
