Lifetime Assistance, Inc. in Webster, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a full-time residential position with evening hours from Wednesday to Sunday, 3pm–11pm. Starting wage is $21.55 per hour, with a $0.75 weekend differential.

The role includes 40 hours per week and requires no prior experience. You will provide personal care, support independence, manage health and safety, and document progress in the Electronic Health Record while collaborating with a Residential Manager.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; ideal candidates are dependable, friendly, caring, and trustworthy.
• Must meet Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Pass all required background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).
• Ability to follow individualized plans and safety protocols.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in developing independence, self-help, and social skills.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being, including medication administration (if certified).
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in social and recreational activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training, certifications, and ongoing professional development.
