Qualifications

• Background check including Child Abuse Index and Criminal Record Clearance is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; related work experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid state driver’s license.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide community supervision to ensure health and safety of individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with meals planning, purchasing and preparation.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
• Support development of adaptive and independent living skills.
• Maintain records of assistance provided and ensure client confidentiality.
