Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide direct care and skill-building support in residential and community-based settings. You’ll help individuals with daily living activities, community participation, and personal goal attainment while promoting safety and well-being.

The role emphasizes advocacy, self-determination, and meaningful community relationships, with pay range $20.00-$22.48 per hour and opportunities for differential hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
