Job summary

TLC's Monroe Residential Treatment Facilities in North Carolina is seeking a Residential Counselor for a part-time to full-time, on-site role. The schedule includes mornings and evenings with one weekend day per week to support clients.

You will model professional behavior, facilitate therapy-focused groups, support treatment plans, and participate in mealtimes and nutrition guidance. Training is provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; psychology/social work/education related field preferred.
• One year of behavioral health experience; eating disorder setting or group home preferred.
• Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clients' well-being as a positive role model with professional behavior.
• Provide guidance aligned with therapeutic goals and treatment plans.
• Facilitate group sessions on coping skills, relapse prevention, DBT, education, and life skills.
