Job summary

Clearbrook in Wilmette, IL is seeking a Residential Counselor for a Fine CILA group home. The role provides direct active treatment, daily living support, and guidance in community resources to adults aged 18+ with developmental disabilities.

The position is full-time with a weekend shift (Sat 5pm–Mon 9am, 40 hrs/week) at $21.35 per hour plus paid training. Equal opportunity employer, benefits included.

Qualifications

Residential Counselor - Fine CILA

A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.

Location: Wilmette, IL

Hours: Full Time

Schedule: Saturday 5pm-Monday 9am (40 hrs/wk)

Pay: $21.35/hr + Paid Training!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.


• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.


• Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.


• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
