Job summary

CHC in the Akron area is seeking licensed counselors/therapists to join our residential, adolescent, MAT, and outpatient teams. The Residential Counselor role provides direct service at RAMAR with comprehensive supervision and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required for eligibility.
• Active Ohio counseling license (LPC/LPCC/LSW/LISW/LCDC III/LICDC) is required.
• Preferably 1+ year of clinical experience with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, coordinate assessment, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, or family counseling to assigned cases.
• Complete thorough documentation of each step of the patient’s treatment.
• Present patient cases weekly in clinical supervision meetings and seek consultation as needed.
