Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in residential and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, skills development, transportation access, and community engagement to promote independence and meaningful relationships.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and adherence to person-centered plans, with opportunities for differential hourly pay and ongoing training at an anti-racist, inclusive organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
