Friendship Community'sResidential Coordinatoris responsible for the coordination of services to our individuals' internal and external appointments, as well as the oversight of the group home teams via supervision of Residential Managers. TheResidential Coordinator'sjob is to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and to develop high-quality programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee compliance with applicable government regulations
- Assist with the creation of Program Core schedule
- AssistResidential Manager's with new Team Member orientation
- Follow through with Team Member's DCI entries regarding use of PTO sick time and track absenteeism, tardiness, etc.
The Residential Coordinator will also assist residential managers in the coordination of;
Development of Goal Plans
- Involvement of ISP processes + meetings
- Coordinate Behavior Management Plans and reviews
- Facilitate Admissions and Discharges for Individuals
Participation on various committees or Team Meetings will be required, committee' such as;
- Program Team
- . Behavior Management
- Utilization Review Committee
- . Individual Rights Committee
- Residential Managers Meetings
- On-Site Team Meetings
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time hourly paid professional position eligible for over time. It is expected that the Residential Coordinator will work 8am-4:30pm Monday-Fridaywith the flexibility to work non-scheduled hours to handle emergencies, appointments andother duties related to staffing needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A Residential Coordinator mustmeet requirements as defined in the Federal Regulations for the Waiver Programs.Residential Services experience and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Understanding of behavioral principles and strategies
- Ability to write operational definitions
- Clear written and oral communications skills
- Working knowledge of group behavior, Team dynamics, leadership, etc. and theirinterface with social, economic, psychological, physiological and spiritual factors
- Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental illness
- Ability to work with others including Individuals, Team Members, families, etc.
- Knowledge of Social Role Valorization and Normalization
- Utilize effective leadership and management/supervision skills
