Trueline Talent is seeking a skilled Residential Carpenter for its NH client. You will work on single-family and manufactured homes across Southern and Central New Hampshire, handling finish work, decks, repairs, and site tasks.

Qualifications

  • Finish work, repairs, decks, and general construction tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on construction, carpentry and finish work on homes.
  • Assist with setup and completion of manufactured homes.
  • Identify and repair damage from transportation or installation.
  • Build decks, stairs and exterior features.
  • Complete punch-lists and warranty-related work.
  • Read sites and independently address issues.
  • Help prepare homes for completion and turnover.
  • Assist with basic site work and home pads as needed.
  • Operate construction equipment when qualified.
  • Work across projects throughout NH service area.
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized jobsites.
  • Communicate project needs and progress to the team.

Trueline's client, a growing New Hampshire residential construction and development company, is seeking a Residential Carpenter to join their field team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced residential carpenter or construction professional who enjoys varied work, takes pride in solving problems, and wants the stability of a consistent full-time schedule with a company focused on building its long-term in-house team.

You’ll work primarily on single-family and manufactured homes throughout Southern and Central New Hampshire, handling everything from finish work and decks to repairs, home setup, and light site work. The ideal candidate can walk onto a residential project, understand what needs to be done, and get to work without extensive training.

What You'll Do as the Residential Carpenter:
  • Perform hands-on construction, carpentry, and finish work on single-family and manufactured homes
  • Assist with the setup and completion of manufactured homes after delivery
  • Identify and repair damage or construction issues resulting from transportation or installation
  • Build decks, stairs, exterior features, and other residential components
  • Complete punch-list, finish carpentry, repair, and warranty-related work
  • Read the jobsite, identify what needs attention, and independently work through common construction issues
  • Help prepare homes for completion and turnover
  • Assist with basic site work and home pads when needed
  • Operate construction equipment when qualified and experienced to do so
  • Work across different residential projects throughout the company's New Hampshire service area
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
  • Communicate clearly with the internal team about project needs, progress, and issues
Must-Haves as the Residential Carpenter:
  • At least a few years of hands-on residential construction or carpentry experience
  • Experience working on single-family homes or comparable residential construction
  • Well-rounded carpentry skills with the ability to handle finish work, repairs, decks, punch-list items, and general construction tasks
  • Ability to work independently without requiring extensive hands‑on training
  • Strong practical problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Reliable, dependable approach to work and scheduling
  • Ability and willingness to work at project sites throughout the region
  • Comfortable working in a small-team environment where flexibility and initiative matter
Nice-to-Haves as the Residential Carpenter:
  • Manufactured or modular home construction experience
  • Experience setting, finishing, repairing, or completing manufactured homes
  • Basic excavation or site work experienceBroad carpentry background spanning framing, finish work, exterior construction, and repairs
  • Construction safety certifications or additional trade training
