Job summary

Southern Impression Homes in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee construction of single- and multi-family homes for owner-occupied markets. The role focuses on scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and timely closings while maintaining safety and cost targets.

The candidate will manage and evaluate subcontractors, stage punch, and communicate with buyers and management. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of residential construction experience.
• Knowledge of the scope of work for each major subcontractor.
• Strong coordination and communication with buyers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and inspect subcontractors and vendors to meet Brightland Homes standards.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for work prior to payment authorization.
• Stage punch and track status of each home across sites.
• Ensure homes close on their scheduled date and maintain best construction practices.
• Identify material needs and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Manage trade database and safety compliance across sites.
• Communicate with buyers and manage expectations; report issues to management.
• Analyze problems and recommend solutions to project teams.
