Job summary

FRANK THE BRUSH INC is seeking a residential/commercial painter to join our team. You will perform professional exterior and interior painting for homes and light commercial properties, delivering quality service to customers.

You are an experienced painter who takes pride in doing the job right. Responsibilities include surface preparation, color matching, coating application, detailing, and ensuring a clean, safe worksite each day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
