Job summary

Merry Maids of Gaithersburg is seeking a team member to professionally clean customer homes, following Merry Maids’ proven procedures. The role emphasizes leaving rooms smelling freshly cleaned and well-groomed, with flexible scheduling and paid training.

You will perform bathroom, kitchen, and living area cleaning, lift and move light furniture as needed, and maintain a positive team environment while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to differentiate between variously colored cleaning products by identifying the color or product name.
• Ability to define specific uses of cleaning products.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions indicated on customized service reports.
• Ability to communicate with the Team Captain to ensure the customers’ expectations are met.

Responsibilities

• Clean homes using Merry Maids procedures, dust cobwebs, fixtures, baseboards and windowsills.
• Sanitize and deodorize bathroom fixtures, showers, tubs, toilets and mirrors.
• Clean kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, tables and chairs.
• Vacuum stairs and hard floors; move furniture to clean under and behind.
• Vacuum upholstery and heavy furniture; transport supplies to jobs; assist in office upkeep.
