GFL Environmental Inc. in Greenville, NC is seeking a Residential Cart Delivery Driver to safely drive a cube truck on local routes, deliver, swap and retrieve residential carts, and interact professionally with customers.

You’ll perform pre/post-trip inspections, navigate using GPS, and work outdoors in varying weather. The role offers steady year-round work with competitive pay and a team-focused culture that values safety and excellent service.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
• A clean, satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely maneuver trucks in high-traffic and narrow spaces.
• Physical capability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors 100% of the time in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver & Retrieve: Drive assigned pickup trucks with trailers or ancillary equipment along local routes to deliver, exchange, or collect residential carts.
• Site & Equipment Inspections: Evaluate customer curbsides for safe placement and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle condition inspections to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Load & Unload: Safely move carts to and from trailers manually or using forklifts.
• Be the Face of GFL: Courteously interact with residential customers and the public along your route to answer questions or escalating concerns to management.
• Route & Safety Tracking: Use GPS and route sheets to efficiently navigate tight spaces and backup distances (up to 120+ feet) safely.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Clean loose debris around loading areas and uphold safe, clean operations in compliance with company and safety regulations.

At GFL Environmental, our Residential Cart Delivery Drivers are the essential engine driving clean neighborhoods and satisfied customers across Greenville, NC. In this role, you’ll be driving a cube truck or specialized service vehicle along designated local routes to deliver, swap, and retrieve residential roll-out waste and recycling carts. What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• High school diploma or GED equivalent desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
• A clean, satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely maneuver trucks in high-traffic and narrow spaces.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and repetitively lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors 100% of the time in varying weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
