LIFESPAN Incorporated in Charlotte, NC is seeking Residential Enrichment Specialists to support people with disabilities in group homes and community settings. This PRN role offers flexible shifts, paid training, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by teaching skills, promoting independence, and encouraging social participation.

All positions require 18+, background and health checks, and CPR/First Aid certification; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass criminal record and healthcare registry check.
• Pass Drug Screen.
• Pass driving record check if providing transportation.
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• First Aid/CPR certification required (blended or classroom).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Commitment to competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Teach skills to promote independence.
• Support community inclusion and integration.
• Mentor individuals to help build social skills and relationships.
• Provide guidance and support in daily activities.
• Assist with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with preparation of meals.
• Monitor and report on health and safety objectives.
• Assist with participation in leisure/recreational activities.
• Use electronic health records to document activities and significant events.
• Submit documentation and payroll data on schedule.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and participate in staff development.
• Administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Provide transportation to and from designated sites.
