Fieldstone RTH in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Residential Care Associate I to provide companionship and daily living support to adults living with mental illness. Under RN guidance, you will assist with medications, meals, and daily activities while promoting independence and safety in a caring team environment.

Position follows AFSCME bargaining guidelines; flexible shifts, paid training, and opportunities for professional development and certifications are available.

Qualifications

• Caregiving and/or mental health experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass DHS background check
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• CPR and crisis de‑escalation trainings required

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship and assistance with daily living activities to clients
• Assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing
• Pass medications under guidance of a Registered Nurse
• Transport clients to and from the program as needed

About the Position

We are looking for a Residential Care Associate I to join our team at our Fieldstone RTH in Wilsonville, Oregon! The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. They will provide personal care services and support that helps individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. The Residential Care Associate I will assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, they will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services. They will maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services.

Thispositionfalls under theAFSCMEbargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions aresetin accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Training Program

With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs towards applicable mental health certifications, while attending your required, paid training, and receiving qualified clinical supervision gaining on-the-job experience.

Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. This requirement enables secure access to company systems.

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Full Time Day)

What You’ll Make

$21.42 - $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials.

Differentials

In addition to your base wage, CCS offers the following pay differentials, subject to position, program, and eligibility requirements:

• A additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM, provided that at least 2.5 hours of your shift occur within this designated period.
• An additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program.
• An additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program.

About the Program

Fieldstone is a co‑ed, 5-bed Residential Treatment Home that serves adults living with a mental illness. Fieldstone offers private bedrooms equipped with their own bathroom, a large community gathering area with wonderful built‑in bookshelves and entertainment centers, spacious windows, and a beautiful kitchen.

What You’ll Need

• Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred
• A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete their activities of daily living (ADL’s) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs).

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record,and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques and may require an individual to lift and transfer clients.
