Job summary

ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Care Associate I at Pine Ridge in Eugene, OR. The role provides companionship, daily living support, and assistance with activities of daily living in a 7-bed residential setting.

You will assist with personal care, meal prep, and transportation, under RN guidance. A valid driver's license and basic caregiving/mental health experience are preferred; training and a wage differential program accompany this position.

About the Position

We are looking for a Residential Care Associate I to join our team at our Pine Ridge in Eugene, Oregon! The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. They will provide personal care services and support that helps individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. The Residential Care Associate I will assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, they will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services. They will maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services.

Thispositionfalls under theAFSCMEbargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions aresetin accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Training Program

With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs towards applicable mental health certifications, while attending your required, paid training, and receiving qualified clinical supervision gaining on-the-job experience.

Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. This requirement enables secure access to company systems.

Work Schedule

Friday through Monday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm (Part Time Swing)

What You’ll Make

$21.42 - $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials.

Differentials

In addition to your base wage, CCS offers the following pay differentials, subject to position, program, and eligibility requirements:

  • Night Shift (NOC) Differential: An additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM, provided that at least 2.5 hours of your shift occur within this designated period.
  • Secure Program Differential: An additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program.
  • Bilingual Differential: An additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program.
About the Program

PineRidge is a non-secure 7-bed Residential Treatment Facility serving individuals living with a mental illness. Pine Ridge offers a therapeutic setting, and the property includes multiple community living areas for group connection, skills training, and recreation, as well as private space for individual therapy and support. Residents can also enjoy the outdoor area complete with large deck, raised garden beds, and lawn.

What You’ll Need
  • Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) is preferred
  • A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete their activities of daily living (ADL’s) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs).

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record,and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques and may require an individual to lift and transfer clients.
