Northern Lakes CMH Authority is seeking a Residential Care Aide to support residents in one of its residential homes in the Houghton Lake area. The role emphasizes a culture of gentleness, person-centered planning, and daily living assistance.

Starting wage is $17.13 per hour with paid training, PTO, benefits, and holiday pay. Full-time and part-time positions available across varying shifts; strong commitment to serving individuals with mental health and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• At least 18-years old.
• MI driver’s license (unrestricted).
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Pass a Physical Exam including lift test.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Negative TB test.

Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority (NLCMHA) is a 300-employee organization that serves people who live with intellectual/developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders from six counties: Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford. Among many other community mental health services, NLCMHA also directly operates 6 licensed specialized residential homes and a small group of supervised independent living apartments utilizing a team of up to seventy full and part time employees. We have homes located in Crawford, Roscommon, and Wexford counties. This Residential Care Aid position would be serving residents in one of those residential homes.
