WellPower is seeking Residential Counselors to support residents with activities of daily living and recovery. You will run group therapy, manage intakes/discharges, monitor medications, and advocate for individuals with severe mental illness within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires coordinating clinical care, ensuring safety, documenting interactions, and engaging with community integration efforts. Shift work is possible, with a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• RC I: actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• RC II: Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual psychotherapy with consumers to support and insight.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions within the house.
• Coordinate clinical care with case management and other services.
• Assess consumers and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assist with ADLs and teach daily living skills.
• Facilitate treatment and continuity of clinical care within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Complete intake and discharge tasks for residents entering or leaving the house.
• Maintain household safety and manage chores like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Document significant consumer interactions toward recovery and care continuity.
• Complete clinical documentation such as daily logs and medications records.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with staff and clinicians as needed.
• Advocate for acceptance and integration within the community.
