Job summary

Granite Recovery Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct support at our residential treatment facility in New Hampshire. You will supervise clients, assist with medication administration, and guide recovery using the 12-step model.

You will perform regular urinalysis testing (2–3x weekly), document results, and maintain accurate records while upholding confidentiality and safety standards in a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months behavioral health experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Certification in self administration of medication procedures required.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to clients at the residential treatment center.
• Assist and monitor self-administration of medication.
• Offer clients guidance about recovery using the 12-step model.
• Conduct random urinalysis drug testing 2-3x weekly.
• Monitor all drug tests by observing samples with staff to client interaction.
• Document results of each sample and have client sign/date the form.
• Maintain records of urine submissions and client data related to medication self-administration.
• Report conflicts regarding U/A or medication processes to Clinical/Residential Directors.
• Report unusual client behavior or suspicious activity to the Clinical Director and Residential Director.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
