Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Nelsonville, OH, is seeking a Residential Behavioral Health Lead for 1st shift to supervise staff, coordinate care, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for residents at Mary Hill Youth and Family Center.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis awareness, and ability to collaborate with clinical teams; a valid driver’s license and Medicaid billing capability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/behavioral health preferred.
• Crisis intervention certification (NCI) or ability to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead behavioral health staff member during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient operations, adequate coverage, and program compliance.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and informal coaching to residential staff through delegation, supervision, and onboarding.
• Communicate with clinical staff and teams regarding resident needs, incidents, and operational concerns.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment; monitor resident behavior and intervene in challenging situations.
• Coordinate daily schedules, therapeutic programming, life-skills activities, groups, and events with clinical staff.
