Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related mental health field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical treatment setting, including at least 3 years in a direct supervisory or clinical management role.
• Professional clinical licensure or certification in Alaska is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills to guide a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Knowledge of populations including individuals managing SMI, substance use disorders, or high-risk psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the residential program’s values, mission, and long-term goals.
• Regulatory Excellence: Oversee and audit clinical records to ensure compliance with agency policies, Medicaid, Medicare, and licensing/audit requirements.
• Direct High-quality Care: Supervise and direct the delivery of comprehensive clinical services, including assessments, individual and group therapy, life skills development, and discharge planning.
• Team Supervision: Mentor and support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and peer support specialists.
