Job summary

The Arc of Anchorage is seeking a Behavioral Health Aide for a Residential Extended Shift (3-Day) position in Anchorage, AK. This role delivers person-centered behavioral health services within a supportive residential program.

Shifts run Thursday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a base rate of $17.50/hour plus overtime, and requires collaboration with clinicians, nurses, and case managers to promote safety, independence, and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of client care in clinical or medical settings preferred.
• Alaska driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Proficient with general office equipment and Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program statistics and incident reports in EHRs.
• Schedule treatment sessions and respond to the staff hotline.
• Provide direct supervision ensuring client safety and wellbeing.
• Assist with activities of daily living and community integration.
• Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and case managers.
