Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years’ experience with adults diagnosed with mental health and intellectual disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with ≤2 points and current auto insurance.
• DDA medication administration experience is required.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning recreational activities for residents.
• Counsel residents in identifying and resolving social or other problems.
• Administer medications, implement treatment plans, and perform household duties.
• Record daily activities and submit incident reports as needed.
• Supervise group-sponsored trips and social functions.
• Coordinate with physicians as needed.
• Answer telephone and sort mail; escort residents on external trips.
• Plan menus and comply with regulations (COMAR, MHP, company).
• Implement rehab plans and record relevant data.
• Prepare and submit all necessary billing documentation.
