Job summary

Vi Highlands Ranch seeks a Fitness Coordinator to design and implement health programs for residents, teaching classes and assessing fitness needs. You will oversee the fitness room and pool activities, ensuring safety and engagement for all ability levels.

Collaborate with the Lifestyle team on Whole Person Wellness initiatives and partner with residents and physicians to tailor personalized plans, while maintaining strong communication and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in assessment, design and implementation of exercise programs for all ability levels.
• Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Gerontology or related field is required.
• Masters degree in Gerokinesiology is preferred.
• Balance and Mobility Instructor Specialist certification is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized fitness programs for residents.
• Teach a variety of exercise classes and conduct assessments.
• Oversee fitness room and pool activities for residents.
• Collaborate with Resident Services and Lifestyle team on Whole Person Wellness initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Gerontology or related field

Master's degree in Gerokinesiology (preferred)

Balance and Mobility Instructor Specialist certification

CPR and First Aid certifications
