St. John's United is seeking a Fitness & Wellness Coordinator to organize and host health and wellness classes for residents, coordinating with the Life Enrichment Team to support engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Certifications in independent and/or group fitness instruction required (e.g., personal training, senior fitness, yoga, Pilates, guided stretching).
• Experience planning and hosting health and wellness activities for diverse populations valued.
• Ability to assess residents’ abilities and tailor activities to social, physical, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host health and wellness classes for residents (e.g., chair yoga, seat and stretch).
• Coordinate with Life Enrichment Team to create monthly activity calendars and bulletin boards.
• Maintain documentation and daily resident contact with staff, volunteers, families, and guests.
• Support Care Plans and work with restorative/therapeutic teams to meet resident needs.
