Job summary

Guttenberg Care Center is seeking a Driver to join our caring team. You will transport residents to appointments, activities, and events, ensuring a clean and safe vehicle and assisting residents with care needs as required.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and an Iowa-state compliant driver's license (Class D Chauffeur or Class C CDL). Prior SNF driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered driver's license as required by the State of Iowa.
• Class D Chauffeur License or Class C Commercial License.
• Prior driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferable.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments outside the facility.
• Transport residents to and from activities and functions.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle.
• Assist residents in receiving the specialized care they need.
